Welcome to Tillamook Fire District
Whats New
Tillamook Fire District recently took delivery of a new rescue built on a
2009 International chassis featuring a unique synthetic "Plastisol"
rescue body. The rescue was purchased from H&W Pacific located in
Hillsboro Oregon. The new rescue is currently being retrofitted with
additional equipment and should be in service within the next sixty
days.
Safety Tips
Smoke Alarms
Why have a smoke alarm? The cause
of most fire deaths is smoke – not
flames. Most fire deaths and injuries
occur between midnight and 8 a.m.
when people are asleep. Seconds
count! You have less than three
minutes to escape a house fire. The
earlier a smoke alarm alerts you to a
fire, the more likely you will get out
alive
